DAn & waLTS Recipe Book: 45 Year Restaurant on White Bridge Road in Nashville, Tennessee

This book contains recipes from a restaurant that stood for forty-five-years in West Nashville, Tennessee. The restaurant’s address was 38 White Bridge Road. This book represents forty-five or so of your favorite recipes from a chain that crossed the United States from Nashville, Tennessee to Worthington, Ohio to Indianapolis, Indiana to Burbank, California. The Burbank, California location was known to be located in the Dalts building. At this restaurant’s peak, it had twenty-six units. The concept was created by two gentlemen, DAn and waLT. By putting their names together, they came up with the name. The top selling recipes, for the twenty-five years that I owned it, are in this book. Included in the recipe book are the Chicken Salad, Chocolate Malt Cake, Baked Potato Soup, Peanut Butter Pie, BBQ Babyback Ribs, Spinach Dip, Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, Summermelt, and the Meatloaf. I took each recipe that the restaurant had and broke them down to a manageable recipe for a family of two to four persons. I then, tested all the recipes to make sure they tasted like the original.
